The Alabama Confederate Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama
Hello and welcome to American Dissident Voices, I'm Shaun Walker.
I would first like to announce that we have mailed out Resistance issue number 24. Resistance magazine is the outreach tool for Resistance Records. On the cover of this issue is Sarah, a beautiful young lady from southern California. This issue, like all the other issues, is loaded with a lot of interviews from bands around the world. Also in this issue is an excellent interview by Kelly Parsell with eugenicist Matt Neunic. This in-depth interview is on "Eugenics History and Modern America." This is one of the most interesting articles I've read in a long time on the subject of eugenics. The article itself isn't a scientific report, but rather an overview of the entire subject matter. For those who don't have a very good background of the concept of eugenics, this is the perfect article to read.
And of course this issue has music reviews, letters to the editor, new music CDs, and news from around the world in regards to music -- pro-White music that is. And the sports section of this issue deals with John Pommer, a racialist rugby player. There are also two interesting essays from the Resistance essay contest. All around, this is a very solid issue. For a subscription to Resistance magazine, send twenty dollars to:
Resistance Records
PO Box 67
Hillsboro, West Virginia, 24946
If you want a sample issue, send six dollars and fifty cents to that same address. Or, you can send one dollar and ask for a Resistance Records Catalog.
I am also very happy to announce that National Vanguard magazine number 128 is now complete. This is the third issue we've published in three months. This is the September-October issue. On the front cover is a picture of George Washington and the cover story is "What Personal Sacrifice Means." Besides this one article, there are two other articles which I think the readers will also enjoy. The first one is a very timely article on "Immigration, Jews, Muslims, and the Iraq War." This in-depth article goes into the bombings in London that happened on the seventh of July. I know our readers will find this article very interesting. The other article is "Jewish Control of the British Media." This piece was purposely placed to coincide with the other British article. This is the National Alliance's first stab at the British media. The National Alliance has been producing "Who Rules America?," a detailed report of the Jewish control of the American media since the 1970s. So, for this issue we decided to give the British media some exposure. This isn't as in-depth as the American "Who Rules America?" research article, but it does outline the same basic pattern, and is very well-researched.
A subscription to National Vanguard is just twenty two dollars. If you would like a sample copy of this issue, send six dollars to:
National Vanguard Books
PO Box 330
Hillsboro, West Virginia, 24946
Your subscriptions help support this show and the efforts of the National Alliance. I do hope that you will subscribe and help support the National Alliance. Also, we've been mailing out our new book catalog: catalog number twenty-one. This is the first catalog that we have updated since 2002. There have been a lot of changes and this is the largest catalog in regards to the number of book titles. We've never stocked this many books in the history of the National Alliance. If you would like a book catalog, please send three dollars to the address above and ask for a book catalog.
By shopping with Resistance Records or National Vanguard Books, you help support this program and other activities of the National Alliance. This is greatly appreciated and very, very necessary.
I'm also happy to report that finally in August, we sent two issues of Free Speech to the printers. Free Speech has been on hold since February, because we had to get the book catalog finished. To all of our subscribers, I do apologize for the five month delay, but I believe you will be very happy with the these issues. Our editor, Lewis Doherty, is working hard on getting Free Speech issues current. We will be getting two issues out a month to get caught up.
This last weekend I had the pleasure to attend the Emory Burke memorial in Montgomery, Alabama. This was the first time I had visited Montgomery, Alabama. I was interested to see all the changes that have taken place in the South since the fall of segregation. Montgomery, Alabama is the birth place of the Confederacy, back in 1861. When I arrived in Montgomery, I was very happy to see the huge monument to the Confederacy right beside the capital building.
On all four corners of this monument are the standards of the Confederacy. The first, second, and third flag of the Confederacy, plus the Confederate battle flag stand proudly. Another thing that I was happy to see was one of the inscriptions written in stone. This huge monument, which had its cornerstone dedicated personally by Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederacy, is an enormous monument and it is emotional just to look at the beauty of it.
There are four inscriptions in the stone, one on each side of this huge monument. The inscription that I liked the most was:
"The knightliest of the knightly race, who since the days of old have kept the lamps of chivalry in the hearts of gold."
The quote is attributed to the initials of F.O.T., but I'm afraid I don't know who that is. To be able to read in the year 2005 an inscription that refers to the White race as the "knightly race" is beautiful. I'm afraid the city itself isn't as beautiful. Over the last forty years the Blacks have really taken over.
Inside the capital dome were pictures, one of which caught my eye. It was a picture of the settlers, when they first settled the state of Alabama, and it states: "France establishes the first White colony in Alabama under Iberville and Bienville. Mobile 1702-1711." The fact that the Jews haven't driven the Whites completely crazy and had the word "White" removed, is a good sign.
Even in the original Alabama Supreme Court, which is in the Capital building itself, the three flags on display were the American flag, the Alabama flag, and the battle flag of the Confederacy. I was happy to see that the Confederate flag is still there, but I wondered how long it would remain.
There was another painting in the capital dome of Desoto. He was the explorer who in 1540 first traveled in Alabama. He was one of many brave White men who helped to open up this continent for White settlement.
In contrast to these beautiful paintings of these great White men, just one and a half blocks south of the Capitol is the Southern Poverty Law Center complex. Actually there are two complexes now, but perhaps I should call them their "compounds," as that is the word that like to use to describe any of the buildings we own.
These two large office buildings are not just a physical eye-sore, with the ugly modern-art-architecture, but these buildings serve as a perfect reminder of the people who want to destroy the White race and the power these destroyers have today. In fact, on the Sunday, August 28th, edition of the Montgomery Advertiser, there was one news snippet that stood out. It was in the Sunday business section. The article states that the Southern Poverty Law Center had named Jeff Blancett as their new COO. It goes on to describe Mr. Blancett's history and his credentials as would any business section of a newspaper when introducing a new executive who has taken over a key position of a large corporation. This illustrates the power that the Southern Poverty Law Center now wields in the state of Alabama.
Although the Southern Poverty Law Center is firmly established in Montgomery, I wouldn't want to give the impression that Montgomery doesn't have some good sites worth seeing.
The first Confederate White House is located just across the street from the capital building. A gold star has been placed into the flooring of the marble steps of the capital where Jefferson Davis was standing when the Confederacy was officially created. And the statue of Jefferson Davis is just down the steps to the side.
It was somewhat ironic that when I was there a Negro wanted to tell me about the 1965 march lead by Reverend King. This Negro stated that he was nineteen years old then, back in March of 1965. It is kind of funny when you talk to Blacks, and they tell you these crazy stories in which they completely believe. Blacks might say that the brand Snapple is owned by the Ku Klux Klan, so don't drink Snapple ice tea. Negroes might claim that they invented helicopters four thousand years ago and I suppose that in the "Encyclopedia Negrotica" it is all documented.
What this particular Negro wanted to tell me about was how Governor George Wallace ordered helicopters to be laden with Napalm and was going to bomb and murder 100,000 Black men on that day, and how the governor called in the Ku Klux Klan which murdered all the Whites who marched with the Negroes.
This Negro had a college degree. He got it at Alabama University, which was first established 1867. It is one of the first Negro colleges and is a huge, well-established university. It is entirely Black from what I could see. I suppose this is the type of curriculum they teach these people. That Negro really, honestly believes that governor Wallace ordered helicopters to be armed with Napalm and that they almost bombed and killed 100,000 Negroes.
Montgomery was an interesting place to visit, and I do encourage other White nationalists to visit the city. The reason I was in Montgomery was for the Emory Burke memorial held on Saturday.
This event was organized by Matt Koehl, the leader of an organization called the New Order. It was interesting to talk to Matt Koehl and to Emory Burke's widowed wife Mary Burke. Emory Burke's children and grandchildren were present as well.
The fist speaker at the memorial was Dr. Edward Fields, who publishes The Truth at Last. Dr. Fields was only fourteen years old the fist time he heard Emory Burke speak in 1946. That wasn't the fist time Emory Burke had given a speech to the public, as he had started back in the 1930s. In fact, one speech that Emory Burke gave, Adolf Hitler liked so much that he said he would like to shake Emory Burke's hand one day.
Emory Burke was a White nationalist from day one. But, there are three things that set Emory Burke apart from the rest. The first was his great ability to speak. He was a natural born orator. The second was his character. He gave seventy years of his life, non-stop, for the White race.
He died in November of 2002, a few months after Dr. Pierce's death. His death marked the end of the life of a great White man, the end of one of the longest services that a White man has given to the White race.
The third thing that really set Emory Burke apart from everyone else was his ability. Emory Burke was a top-quality individual. He was a man who came from good genetics. And these good genetics show in his children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. There is an old saying, "the blood will tell." Well, the blood is still telling in Emory Burke's bloodline.
The second speaker at Emory Burke's memorial was his grandson, Derek Purdue. I was so happy to see that this man had the gift for speaking. I suppose it is all in the blood. He read the original eulogy for Emory Burke. And this eulogy wasn't just a eulogy about the man Emory Burke. This was a statement about the greatness of the White race and one man that shined. Rarely have I been so impressed with a man's speaking ability as I was with Derek Purdue's. He has given me the permission to reprint his speech, and we will be publishing it in the future.
The third speaker was Emory Burke's widow, Mary Burke. Here's the woman who was married to Emory Burke for 66 years, raising four young children when Emory Burke lingered in prison on trumped up charges and staying strong throughout. We've all heard the saying "behind every good man is a good woman." For Emory Burke to be such a giant in our movement, a woman of the quality of Mary Burke was necessary. She shined during all those years and she still shines. It was a real treat for me to talk to her. When she told me stories about Emory Burke dining with George Lincoln Rockwell, back in the 1950s, she could recall the events with such clarity. Like I already said, it was a real treat to attend this memorial.
The closing remarks were made by Matt Koehl. Matt Koehl first discovered Emory Burke in 1946 from an issue of Life magazine which Emory Burke was featured in. Matt Koehl first became friends with Emory Burke in 1955 and it was my pleasure to hear Mr. Koehl tell me all the stories of Emory Burke's trials and tribulations.
We will be featuring a more in-depth article on Emory Burke in National Vanguardmagazine. I hope you will subscribe and learn more about this great man. We may even publish some of his poems from his book: The Will of the West.
On a side note, one other thing that happened when I was down in Alabama was the storm came through, that is Hurricane Katrina. We now see on the news that there are Negro snipers in New Orleans shooting at the cops. America experiences its worst natural disaster ever, and Negroes are caught looting on the same day that the hurricane touches down. And yet, the Negroes have done this during every natural disaster in America. This just sets perfectly with why I went to the Emory Burke memorial.
Why did this man stand out? What did this man have to say to the world? Was he correct? We see the behavior of the Negroes; we see the neighborhoods that they destroy; we see how Negroes respond to a natural disaster.
We, of course, want a beautiful world for our race. And the only way we are gong to have a better world is to listen to advice from men like Emory Burke. The events occurring in New Orleans, Mobile, and Gulfport, and the behavior that the Negroes will always display will only go away when we can apply the advice from men like Emory Burke.
One thing about Emory Burke was his resilience. A man who underwent so much hardship and yet he always bounced back and came out on top.
Sitting on the porch of Emory Burke's house in Alabama, listening to the sounds of the South at nighttime, and reflecting on what this man had given, I realized that more of us have to give. We have to do more. And at the same time we have to honor those that have given. We, at the National Alliance, plan on republishing Emory Burke's book, The Unlifted Curse. Emory Burke wrote this book when he was 77 years old, ten years before his death. This book is historilogical-fiction, on the same lines that James Mitchner and Allen Eckert wrote. It deals specifically with the American Civil War (or the War Between the States). It deals with the relationship between Whites and Blacks and the political implications of the day. The widow of Emory Burke, Mary Burke, would like National Vanguard Books to republish this book, and I was proud to accept the offer. There is no print date set, but in early 2006 we should have this printed.
The last thing that I would like to say in regards to the Emory Burke memorial is in regards to the high-quality of people who were in attendance. The gathering was intentionally kept small. And talking to these hardcore activists in itself was an honor. But, the one thing that really stood out amongst this group of people was the good genetics. And, this reminds me that we must aim high. We must get the very best of our race and educate them. Think of what one man like Emory Burke was able to do. What if we could have one hundred Emory Burkes today? The only way that we can do this is to aim high. We must look for the very best of our race. And if it takes a year or two to educate them enough to get them active, then it is worth it. Because once you get those people, they are the ones that will change the world.
We at the National Alliance are always looking for those high-quality people. If you, one of our listeners are interested, please write to us at the addresses I gave earlier. We'll send you a large information package and we would like to hear what you have to say. Please join with us: the National Alliance.
