Welcome back to this week's broadcast of American Dissident Voices. I'm National Alliance Chairman Erich Gliebe.

If you're at all familiar with the program of the National Alliance, you know that we intend to reshape the geopolitical landscape here in the Western Hemisphere, and eventually throughout the entire world. Our first major goal is to attain a White homeland here in America that is founded on the principles of progressive racialism that Dr. William Pierce adopted and formulated back in the early 1970s, principles that have served to guide the Alliance from that time to this.

Against every conceivable obstacle -- an alien-controlled media, a government that kow-tows to the multiracial agenda of that media, and even the passivity of our own people -- the Alliance has grown into the strongest racialist organization in the United States, and we aim to keep moving forward. American Dissident Voices is one of the many outreach efforts we have toward that end. We figure that the more White people we reach worldwide, the better our chances to motivate the minority of them who see the absolute necessity of our mission to join their efforts to ours.

It's not too much to say that the entire history of our race has led to this moment, and that without our will and determination directed toward the furtherance of our genetic line, our ancestors might as well have never existed. Yes, it IS a big deal, and we take our responsibilities very seriously.

I've said many times on this program that the White people we are targeting most right now are the ones who have the independence of mind and the will to act for the betterment of the race, even though at the present time it would seem like there are few payoffs for the individual. We're not looking for the "what's in it for me" people, because we can't offer the tangible benefits that those people are looking for: more cash on hand and a bigger stock portfolio.

No, all we can offer are the intangibles: a sense of accomplishment when a job is well done, the contentedness that comes with knowing one is doing the right thing, and the joy of living for something bigger -- much bigger, in this case -- than oneself. Unfortunately for the "what's in it for me" people, you can't pay for fancy cars and vacation homes with intangibles, so we don't have much to say to them right now, and we're going to have to stick to recruiting the idealists who think there's more to life than just dollar signs.

But we can't just ignore the masses of hardworking White people out there who don't naturally take to political ideas. And here I'm not referring to the "what's in it for me" people, the ones who see what's going on and consciously choose to pile up treasures for themselves while ignoring the larger racial problem. I'm talking here about the more-or-less ordinary White people, the ones who hold down a regular job -- whether at the law office or at the factory -- and who want the best for their families. They're not too far toward what the media has labeled the Left or the Right. They're old-time patriots; they love America in a way that I've described before as outdated and shallow, in terms of the racial realities we face today. They don't adore non-Whites, but nor do they hate them, either. These folks are the more-or-less static mass that keep a society functioning.

The reason we can't ignore the masses is because they DO have strength. Their strength comes not just because of their numbers, but also because once they are set into motion, they tend to plow ahead until the job is done. They don't ask too many questions, and they tend to believe whomever steps up to the microphone. And that is both the glory and the tragedy of ordinary people.

For example, in 1914, the masses of Frenchmen were whipped into a frenzy of hatred against the Germans, who had beaten France during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 and 1871. At that same time, the masses of Englishmen were whipped into a similar frenzy about the growing threats of Germany's industrial might and her merchant marine fleet. Both of these developments, ordinary Brits were told, would challenge the traditional British supremacy on the high seas and in world trade.

Once World War I had gotten underway, the White masses of Britain and France swelled the Entente armies that were cut down and sank into the mud all across Belgium and France. Nearly two-and-a-half million men from Britain and France gave their lives in the Great War.

The masses of Germany, too, saw the bulk of their young men go off to war in 1914. Despite Herculean efforts and the ultimate sacrifice by nearly two million German soldiers, the Great War ended in defeat for Germany. If nothing else, the dedication and drive exemplified by the millions of soldiers on both sides of the conflict of 1914 to 1918 should convince you of the essential worth and good intentions of the masses. And let us not forget the tens of millions of workers on the home front -- the nurses and farmers and factory workers -- who labored tirelessly in their contributions to the war effort.

World War II provides other illustrations of the power and productivity of the masses, if they are given appropriate leadership and the proper motivation. Despite its eventual defeat at the hands of practically every other modernized nation in the world, Germany made an incredible effort in that war, both on the battlefield and at home.

Of course, I am biased towards Germany, not only because my parents emigrated to the United States from Germany after the war, but also because Germany during the Second World War was inspired by a racialist vision similar to the one that drives my organization, the National Alliance. If National Socialist Germany had won that war, the White West would be in a much better position than it is today, what with all of the non-White immigrants, Islamic terrorists, Jewish string-pullers, and spineless politicians, whose various infections are rapidly growing onto and within the flesh of our race.

But anyway, my point here is that the masses of the White population are capable of truly great things and amazing acts of bravery and self-sacrifice if they are set into motion. In the United States, for example, the wartime efficiency of industry at home as well as the battle-stamina of the soldiers in the field was exemplary. During the First World War, when the American "doughboys" saw action against the seasoned German troops on the newly-dynamic Western Front in the spring of 1918, they gritted their teeth and held their ground when the going got tough and the shelling intensified. On several occasions, the French soldiers fighting beside them -- having seen enough war to last them a lifetime -- threw down their weapons and fled.

American GIs showed the same character and toughness during the Second World War. I remember seeing an interview with an old Dutch woman, who remembered with fondness the Americans who had liberated the Netherlands from the Germans in 1944. There were British troops in Holland as well, she said, but they didn't want to work too hard; after a leisurely morning, they were always sure to stop whatever they were doing in plenty of time to break and have their traditional "tea." The resolve shown by those American troops many decades ago made an impression on that old woman, as did the lackadaisical attitude of the British.

So, masses of White people are certainly capable of pulling together with determination and toughness to do great things. They did in Germany, the United States, and other countries during both World Wars, as we have seen. The problem is that the masses are easily led, which means that he who owns the microphone... owns the people.

At the outset of World War I, opposition to America entering the war was almost unanimous among American citizens. If anything, America was leaning slightly more in favor of the Central Powers. The tens of millions of German-American immigrants still thought fondly of their Fatherland, and the many millions of Irish Americans hated the British for their years of wars of conquest and oppression in Ireland.

Lastly -- but most influentially -- the Jewish-dominated American press had strong ties to Germany as well. For us in the 21st Century, it sounds strange to hear that Jews EVER had an affinity for Germany. We've heard so many times that the Germans are the plague of humanity and that Jews are the world's greatest people, that to hear that Jews once LIKED Germany is startling.

But a century ago, it was true. Many American Jews had emigrated from Germany, and many had relatives still in Europe. A substantial fraction of Jews considered their Yiddish language as a relative of German. The word "Yiddish," in fact, is derived from the German word "jüdisch," -- with an umlaut over the "u" -- which means "Jewish."

Even the now-discredited nonsense about German soldiers cutting off the hands of Belgian children failed to move America to war. The hoopla surrounding the sinking of the British ship the Lusitania, which resulted in the deaths of 118 Americans, met with similar failure... and that was before it became common knowledge that the Lusitania, like many other British ocean liners at the time, was secretly carrying war supplies, in blatant violation of international agreement.

In fact, America was nearly ready to enter the war on the side of Germany due to British piracy on the high seas, which included the raiding of American ships and the subsequent seizure and sale of the manufactured products aboard. The British even went so far as to seize American mail destined for Europe. These actions, coupled with their blockade of Germany -- which violated an international agreement that had originally been drawn up so that British trade ships would have nothing to fear in international waters -- almost pushed Americans into the war on the side of the Central Powers.

But all of that changed when British Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour sent his now-infamous letter to Jewish leader Lord Rothschild, which read as follows:

Dear Lord Rothschild:

I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of His Majesty's Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet:

His Majesty's Government view with favor the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavors to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.

I should be grateful if you would bring this declaration to the knowledge of the Zionist Federation.

So read the Balfour Declaration, the document that would change the course of the 20th Century... negatively, I might add. The gauntlet had been thrown down. It was now imperative -- for all Jews, wherever they may live -- that the Entente (that is, Britain, France, and its allies) win the war.

At that time, Germany looked like it was about to crush a weak Russia that was embroiled in internal turmoil. A Russian defeat would allow the Germans to shut down their war effort in the East and ship that effort by rail to the stalemated Western Front. Such a scenario would most likely lead to a German victory on both fronts. And the Jews couldn't let that happen, because if they did, they wouldn't get the homeland in Palestine that the British had promised them.

You know what happened next. The Jewish-American press did an about-face in a hurry and went to work on bringing America into the war against Germany. The Jewish aide and confidant "Colonel" House -- who was not a colonel at all, and in fact had no military experience whatsoever -- did everything in his power to subvert President Wilson's feeble plans for ending the conflict. House pushed and prodded and cajoled the weak-willed and indecisive President, softening him up for the coup de grace, which would come with the so-called "Zimmermann Telegram."

Contrary to what you might have read or heard, there is still a great deal of mystery and uncertainty surrounding this document, which proved to be the weight that tipped the scales for the U.S. to enter the war on the side of the pirating and blockading British. I might have occasion to go into more detail on this in a later broadcast, but I'll leave it at that for now. The late Belgian hero and former Waffen-SS officer Leon Degrelle sums up the so-called "Zimmermann Telegram" in his great book, Hitler, Born at Versailles:

"...this highly suspicious document, which many believe today to have been cooked up by British espionage operatives -- who are specially trained in the art of forgery and provocation -- was waved in Wilson's face by House as irrefutable proof of German perfidy."

Thus did the American masses help Britain and France win the First World War. Thus did the vengeful and base British and French politicians dice up German territory and impose reparations and economic sanctions against a worthy but defeated enemy. Thus did the Allies of the First World War prepare the food and set the table for the Second. And when that war rolled around -- as it inevitably would -- the White American masses would be pushed into a war that did nothing in terms of the long-term benefit of the White race, and in fact hampered it.

It's really too bad that the White American masses were stampeded into the two world wars. But that just goes to show why it is so important for a nation and a race to have good leaders. Without a guiding hand, an ox might use its brute strength destructively, or perhaps just waste that great strength in idleness. When that strength is channeled, though, as our American pioneering forefathers knew, that ox's strength can pull a wagon or a plow. People and products can be transported, food can be grown, and lots of other useful work can be done.

Our forefathers didn't hate or despise oxen. They fed them well and cared for them, but they made sure their strength didn't wreck what it was supposed to build up. Over the last two hundred years or so, the American oxen have been whipped up into a frenzy to wreck what they were supposed to be building up; namely, a White civilization, either in the New World or the Old. From the tragedy of the American Civil War to both world wars of the last century, the net effect of the oxen's strength has been to weaken the White race. In the case of the Second World War, in particular, the American masses were lashed into hating and destroying a worldview -- National Socialism -- that was explicit about protecting and treasuring the race, about preserving it, and about allowing it to grow to as-yet unimagined heights of greatness.

This analysis, of course, only brings into ever-sharper focus the need that our people have of leadership, and the National Alliance intends to be the organization that will provide that positive leadership. Without it, the current Jewish leadership and the traitorous White leadership that collaborates with it will drive our race to ruin and extinction. YOU can be a part of our White vanguard that will lead our race to a glorious future.

There are a lot of good, honest, and hardworking White people out there whose only desire is to make a contribution to something lasting and worthwhile. They might not be able to see the necessity of the Alliance's task like you can, but if we can elbow a few Jews away from some of those many microphones they've monopolized, those Whites who CAN see will come to us, and our power will grow.

And when it has grown enough, we'll secure that White homeland. Then we'll set up a White government and a White society based on our values. And then we'll make sure that the energy and vitality of the masses gets channeled in the right direction.

But before we even think about moving the masses, we need to inspire the thinkers and the doers. We need to inspire you... and you need to let yourself be inspired.
