Friedrich Nietzsche
Hello, and thanks for joining me for this week's edition of American Dissident Voices, the Internet radio program of the National Alliance. I'm your host and Chairman of the Alliance, Erich Gliebe.
One of the crowning achievements of our system of government here in America, we are told, is that we have freedom: freedom to hold whatever opinions we want, freedom to live wherever we want, freedom to seek our fortunes in our careers, and so on. And aside from the fact that many of those freedoms have been scaled back -- such as the restrictions on personal ownership of firearms and bogus "hate speech" laws that can land a man in prison for SAYING something that is Politically Incorrect -- it is still true that Americans have a great deal of freedom as compared to most of the world's population.
Freedom is a wonderful thing, and our people have a particular fondness for it that other races either don't have at all OR have to a much lesser degree. Despite such anomalous events as the Spanish Inquisition, our race through history has been more open to tolerating individuals who don't quite fit in with the great masses of the population. The great thinkers and composers and writers were men who followed their own paths in the midst of the larger European society and, thankfully, our racial regard for individual freedom and our tolerance for people who don't quite abide by all of the norms of their peers paid big dividends. The high philosophies, the symphonies, and the great literature created by our racial kinsmen are proof that an "everyone must think exactly alike" worldview is not the most beneficial for our people.
I bring this up because we in the National Alliance, as well as others who consider themselves activists in Our Cause, are regularly described by the Jewish media as automatons who think exactly the same things and believe precisely what every other activist believes. That image, of course, is false, but the Jews continue to paint that image because they know that few things are more repulsive to the people we really need to recruit than the idea of a legion of lock-steppers, none of whom have a creative or independent-thinking bone in their bodies.
In the many National Alliance media that we disseminate, we have made efforts to counter our portrayal by the Jews as lock-steppers but, like in everything else, our media are completely outgunned by the Jews. And so our lock-stepping image in the minds of the masses largely prevails for the time being, although that perception is changing.
We will continue to attack this stereotype; we in the National Alliance DO believe in freedom and we DO believe in diversity. Not in racial diversity within a given nation-state, of course, but lots of other kinds of diversity: craftsman and farmer, musician and scholar, warrior and statesman, visionary and manager, and so on. We believe in THAT type of diversity because we believe in freedom. We understand that men -- even White men -- are innately different from each other and that each man should be free to choose his own destiny, within the constraints of the entire racial body.
The problem with this freedom is that it must be guarded with an eye that is ever on the lookout for stealers of that freedom and which, as a consequence, must necessarily be an eye that is -- in a certain sense -- itself…a stealer of freedom. The most obvious example that can be cited here is the role of the SA (the "brown shirts") and later the Gestapo in National Socialist Germany.
On the one hand were the Jews in Germany, who were certainly not interested in the welfare of the German people. To continue granting them the freedom to do exactly as they pleased in Germany was to, in a sense, enslave the German folk to the Jews and thereby sacrifice the greater good of Germany. And so Hitler and the National Socialists made sure that they effectively destroyed those freedoms of the Jews in an attempt to promote the freedom of greater Germany.
Paradoxically, that is how freedom operates: it always comes at a price, and that price is usually someone else's freedom. When the freedoms of Americans spread west during the 18th and 19th Centuries as the United States grew, the freedoms of the Indians virtually disappeared. As the freedoms for Blacks during the Civil Rights Era expanded in the forms of integrated schools, for example, the freedoms of White children and White families to live how THEY wanted to live were curtailed.
Today, there is a big emphasis on individual freedom. We are told by the media that homosexual couples should have the freedom to marry. To many of us, it seems as though illegal immigrants have exactly the same freedoms and rights as do American citizens, if not more. Sadly enough, this is essentially the case, in the sense that our government does nothing to protect our country from all of the problems that are concomitant with illegal immigrants.
These freedoms are a far cry from the freedoms Friedrich Nietzsche used to his advantage when he criticized the German society of his day and set down the beginnings of a new philosophy that, he hoped, would one day pave the way for better human beings. They are far from the freedoms Beethoven enjoyed in composing much of his music, some of which was scorned by the critics of his day for flying in the face of what was fashionable in the music of the time.
The freedoms of the individual, no matter how important they might seem to be, take a back seat to the freedom of a people to control its own destiny. Basically, we must all walk in lock-step on that count. Without the freedom of self-determination, our race will eventually dissolve away into the immense mass of non-White genes.
We can't let that happen and, for that reason, we in the National Alliance -- even though we appreciate individual freedoms, probably more than the rest of the population -- are going to continue pushing first for the freedom and self-determination of our race. Without that, everything else will disappear: not only our individual freedoms, but our entire people.
It's our responsibility to make sure that our race has a homeland in which it is governed by the racialist ideals that we in the National Alliance espouse. Let's continue moving forward toward that end.
