Letters

NATIONAL VANGUARD welcomes letters from readers. Only a few letters can be printed in each issue, however, and these may be edited to reduce their length. Because of staff limitations it is not possible to send a personal reply to every person who writes.

Casus Belli

The only reason we haven't had a war with Syria yet is that the Moslems have carefully refrained from firing on our ships there, no matter how they are provoked. Ever notice that the papers don't say a word about this restraint'l It's not that the Moslems can't fight back. Our unarmored destroyers are only half a mile offshore. Any day they wanted the Moslems could run a few tanks down to the waterfront and take them under direct fire. The Druzes have Soviet 130 mm rifled guns that can shoot 17 miles, and U.S. 155 mm guns that can shoot even farther. Both guns Hre heavier shells than anything but the New lersey. They could do tremendous damage to our ships. My belief is that if the Moslems had ~ired on our ships, Reagan and his Jews would have used that as a casus belli.

Journalist Not French

In the letters section of the January issue, "L.H.," of Hazel Park, MI, quoted Pierre van Paassen, whom he calls a "French Journalist," Van Paassen tells of the massacre of German troops in Syria during World War I. What was the real motive for van Paassen in telling this sordid little tale in his book Days of Our Years?

First one must look into his background. Study will reveal that van Paassen is not his real name. He is also not a Frenchman. Pierre van Paassen is a pen name for Pinchas Paskowitz, a Dutch Jew of Lithuanian extraction. His 1940 book was a propaganda piece to aid Jewish interests by promoting anti-Arab feelings in this country, among other things.

In the case of "L.H.," at least, it looks as though the Jew Paskowitz, alias van Paassen, was successful in his attempt to stir up anti-Arab hate, thus promoting Jewish Middle East domination.

Power Resides in Valor

I've given a lot of thought to this country -- which is, after all, my country. No ruling-class culture exists here. The Yankee upper classes once represented society. They set the standard for good taste and for our whole conception of honor.

The society they represented went into decline at about the same time the ruling-class culture of the antebellum South went under in the Civil War. Not a trace of it remained after the Second World War.

That is why the intellectual whores of the mass media are convinced "honor" and "truth" and "morality" are simply words with which to conjure.

Because of my isolation for so long, I never realized that society, in the best sense of that term, no longer exists in this country. The media have a way of persistently suggesting it exists behind the scenes somewhere. That is what threw me. The Blacks and the Mexicans and the Puerto Ricans are evolving a ruling-class society, a ruling-class culture. The only White example is to be found, in the traditional Italian Mafia .

The Whites in power, especially in the higher echelons of the military, are fruitcakes. Power does not reside in arms, but in the valor that attaches to arms. When a class of Whites appear whom no one would dare try to arrest or put on trial, then we will have a culture. Their power cannot be based on the ability to make money -- or to commit violence.

Our elders are not wise; they are silly with senility. We admire one another on the basis of popularity. Our culture heroes are effete movie stars and entertainers. Our writers are lapdogs, whose whole reason for writing is to get good reviews from the New York Times -- and make a lot of money validating the media projections of "life" in America. This is not so of the non-Whites, and the media do not project those cultural images of them.

I do not see how this country can last.

The lsrael File

Congratulations on your publication The Israel File. You are the only one in this country in the forefront that has his facts straight.

I was in Beirut 41/2 years ago when the Israelis bombed the Palestinian camp just north of the airport with six F-15's, and I spent four hours carrying little children to the hospital.

Enclosed is my check for 100 copies.
