Targeting the Progressives

Hello, and thanks for joining me for this week's edition of
American Dissident Voices, the Internet radio program of the
National Alliance. I'm your host and Chairman of the Alliance,
Erich Gliebe.

Historically, in building the Alliance and working towards the
fulfillment of our worldview, those who were most receptive to
our message came from conservative backgrounds. These
more-or-less conservative recruits were drawn to us because they
recognized, for example, the injustice of "affirmative action" or
the dismemberment of the Second Amendment. They saw that we
opposed those who wished to take away our freedoms, and so they
joined us. These people, in general, didn't start out as radical
White racialists; they started out as normal people who saw that
something needed fixing.

It usually didn't take long before Dr. Pierce's efforts to
educate our kinsmen started changing the outlook of these
status-quo recruits. These conservative members soon realized
that the conservative ideology was empty and that conservative
tactics were unable to solve our race's problems. Those who
accepted those facts and were radicalized became active and
productive members of the Alliance; those who didn't, quit.

Dr. Pierce had written an outstanding article back in 1971
entitled "Why Conservatives Can't Win," which was originally
published in the patriotic newspaper ATTACK!, the predecessor of
National Vanguard magazine, in 1971. Every White person in
America of voting age should read this article. As Dr. Pierce
mentions in the article, "Conservatives cannot win because the
enemy to which they are opposed is a revolutionary enemy -- an
enemy with revolutionary goals and guided by a revolutionary way
of life."

Drawing an analogy to my former profession, the sport of boxing,
the advantage in a fight always goes to the aggressor. Sure, it's
nice to be a great defensive fighter and make your opponent miss
his target, but unless you're landing enough blows of your own,
you will not be scoring in the eyes of the judges. And, it also
looks better for the person who is actually dictating the fight,
rather than the one who just sits back looking to avoid
punishment. Often, the defensive fighter is one who does not like
to take too many chances, because that might leave him open to
get hit. The offensive boxer, however, is usually willing take a
punch or two in order to get his licks in, but in the end it is
usually he who is landing more punches. And, the boxer who forces
the action is almost always the crowd pleaser, the one who has
the most fans on his side.

With the multiracial powder keg that America has become,
conservatism is a lost cause. The battle now is in the later
rounds and the opponent has a clear edge on the scorecards and we
need a knockout to win. We can't leave it up to the judges; we
need to be as aggressive as possible and hit our opponent with
every punch in our arsenal. Now is definitely not the time to
cover up and hope that our opponent tires out. And since the
strategies that we employed earlier in the fight didn't work, we
need to use new tactics if we are to pull out a victory. In any
case, we have to literally fight our asses off to have any chance
to win.

This is why I have much more in common with a politically active,
liberal White college kid who wants to radically change the
system than with a middle-aged beery blowhard whose strategy is
to always vote for the "lesser of two evils." At least the
college kid is more realistic because he understands that the
current system is hopeless and offers him no future whatsoever
and, thus, is willing to fight. The middle-aged or elderly
conservative, on the other hand, is in complete denial, and when
a Black family moves into the neighborhood, he'll move further
away from the city and give every reason except the real one as
to why he moved. The conservative offers no offense and is
constantly on the ropes covering up. And to quote Dr. Pierce,
"The goal of the conservative is to protect what is, or, at the
extreme, to restore what recently was. The goal of the
revolutionary is to radically transform what is, or to do away
with it altogether, so that it can be replaced by something
entirely different."

One segment of the White population that most of us haven't spent
too much time recruiting is a group that, in the past, has been
largely working against us: the young and idealistic White
liberals, whom I'll refer to as progressives. Some of us with an
"us and them" mentality have lumped these young progressives in
the "them" category -- enough said. Some of us have seen their
sloppy dress and their hobnobbing with every whining pack of
non-Whites and recognize once again the symptoms of the disease
that first brought us into the Alliance. Some of us have tired of
hearing their "equality" and "one world" nonsense and have
decided that they are hopeless nutcases and not really worth
saving.

But if we look closer, we'll see that many of the beliefs of the
progressives are not that far off from our beliefs, although the
rationale behind those beliefs differs, of course. Here are a few
examples.

These young Whites believe in self-determination for all people.
When they talk about "self-determination," they have in mind the
Third World. They see it as wrong that the industrial powers are
exploiting the cheap labor of the Third World. They also
recognize the injustices done to workers in the industrialized
countries whose jobs vanish one day and reappear the next in
Southeast Asia. Their view is that all the world's people are
being used as pawns by the great economic power-wielders.

We in the Alliance also believe in self-determination. Unlike
young progressives, though, we are mostly concerned with
self-determination for Whites -- not just for individual Whites
but, more importantly, for the White race as a collectivity. But
we also believe in self-determination for others, too, in the
sense that we feel for them that they too are being used by the
Jews. Moreover, we will leave them alone once we have achieved
our White homeland. And we would have to agree with the
progressives about the world's people being used as pawns and,
although there may indeed be an economic agenda behind this
manipulation, we believe that a racial agenda is foremost in the
minds of the manipulators.

The progressives are also pro-environment. They recognize as well
as we do that no good can stem from destroying the natural world
around us. There is something inherently wrong with cutting down
forests to make way for strip malls and parking lots, with
polluting our water, air, and land with substances that harm
living things. I suspect that one of the main reasons the
progressives agree with us on the environment is because, like
most members of our race, they have an innate love of Nature. We
in the Alliance know that, additionally, if our race is to
elevate itself and become what it was meant to become, we mustn't
live in a wasteland that interferes with genetic improvement.

Finally, the progressives vehemently oppose the Iraq War. While
they see the war as being primarily about George Bush's lust for
oil, we view the war in a larger context that involves Israel's
plans for its own security at the expense of America's honor.

There are other similarities about our worldview and that of the
progressives, but perhaps the most important belief that we share
with the young progressives is that we both agree that things
must change. That is a very important idea because our race
cannot survive if the current situation persists for too much
longer. Status-quo conservatism will result in our extinction. To
survive and to build our new White world, we need rational and
hardworking men and women, but they must be radicals.

And the progressives are already radicalized. They know that
inaction isn't going to get anything done and that, through their
individual actions, they have the power to change things for the
better. That's why they travel all over the world to hold signs
and chant at every G-8 economic summit. That's why they march in
environmental parades wearing gas masks and rubberized chemical
jumpsuits. That's why they attend concerts and hold rallies
opposing the Iraq War. And, many of these young progressives are
involved with the Ron Paul for President Campaign currently
taking place, because they feel Dr. Paul will do a major overhaul
on the current political establishment and make change for the
positive. The young progressives have the spark to make change;
we just need to point them in the right direction.

In recruiting these young and idealistic progressives, we need to
be careful not to prejudge them. Just because a thoughtful and
intelligent White male considers himself a dyed-in-the-wool
Democrat doesn't mean he isn't a future White racialist. Just
because a White college girl can be found among students of every
color at an anti-Iraq War rally doesn't mean that she isn't a
future White racialist. There is potential in every White person
of good will, and as long as a person has a fire in the gut to
work to make the world a better place, we can work with that.

Finally, remember that a young progressive who begins to be
receptive to our worldview will persist in clinging to many ideas
that are crazy. Before you become exasperated with them, think
back to what you believed before your "conversion." How long were
you a member of the Alliance before you completely accepted our
worldview? How much reading and thought did it require for you to
become a radical White racialist? Are opposition to "affirmative
action" and gun control the extent of your beliefs now? Keep that
in mind as you go out and win the progressives for Our Cause.

So let's take the initiative and give everything we have to the
fight for the future of our race. Victory will not fall into our
lap. We need to fight for it and win. Don't hold back, give it
your all.

And always remember, many of the young progressives whom you
think are the enemy, can easily be turned around to our way of
thinking. We just need to have the patience and to be there to
offer them the knowledge and guidance. Our enemies have used our
youth against us for so long, it's time we get on the offensive
and turn the tables.
