American Dissident Voices for February 7, 2009 Museum of Oppression Returns to EIU By Erich Gliebe Hello, and welcome back to this week's broadcast of American Dissident Voices, the Internet radio program of North America's foremost racialist organization, the National Alliance. I'm your host and the Chairman of the Alliance, Erich Gliebe. From Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois, we hear that its "Beyond Words: Museum of Oppression" has returned for an eighth annual appearance. Interestingly, EIU was and is an almost all-White university. In recent decades, it has bent over backwards to become more "non-White friendly." In order to attract more Chicago area Blacks, the university has certainly become more "Black friendly," even naming the student union after "Dr." Martin Luther King, Jr. and bringing in a steady stream of Politically Correct speakers, but never a "healthy" White speaker. No, not one. Instead, students, faculty and community have been treated to a steady stream of the likes of Bobby Seale, Anita Hill, Barack Obama, Maya Angelou and any number of gays and feminists. Every year there is a campus march dedicated to "Dr." King on his birthday, and every year students are told how far America still has to go before racial equality is achieved. In addition, EIU has an annual Miss Black EIU pageant, signifying that EIU's unenlightened White majority are still not ready to do the right thing and affirmatively activate a Black to the status of Miss EIU. In addition, EIU allows a special non-White section to appear regularly in the campus newspaper. As a result, EIU has been getting a few more of those Chicago Black dollars they so pathetically seek. The interesting thing is that most EIU students are still White and many are from rural Illinois. The majority, though, are not sophisticated enough to know or particularly care that they are being perennially indoctrinated to see their racial heritage as one of oppression and imperialism. They have been indoctrinated with a virulent brand of self-hatred in high school and simply continue accepting it in college. In fact, many think that embracing the Politically Correct world view makes them more cosmopolitan and smarter than their so-called "backward," hard-working parents who just want to get their offspring credentialed and headed toward a well-paying job. So, let's have a look at this oppression museum that raises its ugly anti-White head each year. This year's theme is "Break Through to Change." According to Quiana Stone, EIU's Diversity Education Chair, "The Museum of Oppression opens a dialogue across campus. It brings up past issues as well as current events." Actually the museum does not open a dialogue. It closes dialogue because its purpose is merely to indoctrinate, shame Whites, and gain more power for non-Whites. White students won't open their mouths except in praise of Blacks. Hell, they sure don't want to be accused of racism, or worse, rural backwardness! Of course, the Oppression Museum gives the Holocaust story plenty of space. Other oppressed groups are Indians, Asian-Americans, and even the "mentally challenged" who are oppressed when Politically Incorrect clods refer to them as "retarded." This year's theme is "Break Through to Change," obviously a reference to the Mulatto Messiah's cult victory for the U.S. presidency. Nate Pauley, co-chair of the Diversity Education Committee, says, "In the first few years, the museum displayed the social injustices that happen right before peoples' eyes every year. Some people don't know the struggles of other individuals. There are a number of different struggles that happen in other countries." Referring to this year's theme, Pauley says, "There is the idea to move forward and step out of your bounds. We have to evolve." So what does this mean? The multi-racialists in charge obviously have the Politically Correct vocabulary down very well, tossing around words such as "oppression," "struggle," "diversity," and "change." But change in what direction? The word "evolve" carries a positive connotation as in evolving from the immoral to the moral, from the simple to the complex, etc. In linking change with evolution, Stone closes down dialogue by essentially proclaiming that since Obama is a change agent, he is also an agent of positive social, economic, and political evolution. Those standing in the way of this change must be overcome, or "broken through" by the oppressed. But not all change is positive evolution. Having been sufficiently indoctrinated in the ideology he espouses, Stone is apparently unaware that many intelligent, well-educated people oppose the anti-White ideology of liberal multi-racialism. Pauley concludes by saying, "We really want it [the museum] to be a moving experience for people so they could learn some things they didn't know, and improve their daily lives." Actually, the museum folk could stand to learn much that they don't know or understand, but those things are usually not taught in American schools anymore, things such as the great accomplishments of Western Culture and White Americans. Oh yes, there is a new addition to this year's museum -- a Human Race Machine! People can step right up and take a digital photo of themselves, after which the machine will show them what they would look like if they were members of six different races. But to what purpose? Stone chimes in again warning that the Human Race Machine "... is more of a learning tool, not an entertainment thing." I suppose that students are supposed to learn what they would look like if they were members of another race, implying that anyone could be a member of another race but for the grace of God or fate. What the Machine does not explain is that people would not be who they are today if they were members of another race. The only difference among the races is not just physical appearance or skin color. Intelligence differs among the races. Some races have produced great cultures that have strongly influenced world history, and some have not. Some races have succeeded as problem solvers, explorers, and creators while other races have been relatively unproductive and dependent on other races for progress. In effect, changing a Black's skin color to white won't necessarily make him self-sufficient, hard working, and ethical. He still is otherwise genetically a Negro with the other characteristics of his race. Skin color is not a determining factor. The determining factor is overall racial genetics. So, after all, the Human Race Machine is only an entertainment tool, and certainly no learning tool. If the Oppression Museum were not enough Politically Correct indoctrination for one semester, EIU this week announced a series of events designed to coincide with African-American Heritage Month. The feature event is an autobiographical one-man play called A Killing in Choctaw. A press release reveals the story, reputedly based on fact, as follows: While being questioned by a white man in 1962 in the small town of Butler, Choctaw County, Ala., the then-18-year-old [Carl] Ray responded by saying "yes" and "no" instead of "yes, sir" and "no, sir," which was the customary response when addressing white people. He was severely beaten for being disrespectful and, an hour later, the man who beat him went to Ray's home and shot his father as Ray looked on helplessly. Since the play is part of a week of multicultural themes, perhaps the message of the play is that Ray should have celebrated the differences in Southern White culture and said "yes, sir" and "no, sir." But no, the actual message of the play concerns how Ray reached a point of forgiveness and healing. Those White folks certainly were and probably still are despicable, but thank goodness they have Black folks to set a good example! Other events of the week include a presentation by a couple of EIU nutritionists called "Eating for a Healthy Life and Soul," a lecture titled "Hope and History: The Obama Presidency and the Fate of Racism," and a lecture titled "Diversity in America and Its Impact on Education." The latter is presented by EIU's Office of Faculty Development, which is just another organization devoted mostly to making White faculty Politically Correct. Oh, yes. There is also an event called "Yes We Can: A Celebration of History in the Making," where (and I quote) folks are invited to come and share their experience as to where they were and how they felt when they heard that the United States had elected its first African-American president.'' Actually, America elected its first half-White president, but that isn't the point. The point is that the event subtlety suggests that the Obama election is or should be as important as the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Note also that the event is labeled a celebration. Should a public institution funded by taxpayers' dollars sponsor a celebration of one presidential candidate over another? What about all the people who did not vote for Obama and still strongly fear his ability to effectively lead America? What if EIU had sponsored a celebration of Reagan's victory over Carter, asking where were you and how did you feel when you heard that the United States elected Ronald Reagan and brought "morning to America"? Of course there was no such celebration. There wasn't even a celebration for liberal philanderer Bill Clinton, whom Maya Angelou proclaimed America's first Black president! No, but it is apparently fine to celebrate the election of the Mulatto Messiah, just as it is fine for Black political candidates and their supporters to campaign in Black churches although the law prohibits it while White candidates are prevented from doing the very same thing. Well, I guess this is just the latest step in "Change We Can Believe In." Oh, if you happen to be at EIU this week you might also want to check out other presentations, all capped off with "Gospel Explosion," presented by the Unity Gospel Choir. I might be wrong, but I'll bet there aren't any Whites on that Unity Gospel Choir. Wanna bet? I'm Erich Gliebe, and thanks for being with me again today. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= SUBSCRIBE to NATIONAL VANGUARD, our unique, thought-provoking magazine -- $22 US, $30 Canada, and $40 Foreign.
